Andamiro.
To fill something so much that it spills over the rim.
In this word, it isn’t abundance that reaches first, but sincerity.
The trace of trying to fill it to the brim and going past it,
the heart that added a little more out of fear of not being enough,
the truth that was gently pushed all the way to the edge of the bowl.
It isn’t about wanting too much beyond what was needed.
Perhaps it is the posture of someone who thought one more time,
just in case it might fall short.
Words, hearts, even days — we sometimes put in too much.
So they spill, remain unarranged, and at times grow heavy within us.
And yet, when we look back later, we think, “Back then, it was sincere.”
Carefully said,
if you’ve been holding too much of something these days,
perhaps it isn’t excess, but proof that you haven’t lost your tenderness.
It’s okay if it overflows.
You don’t have to blame the bowl.
For as much as it spilled over, you have already lived enough.
